Early Robotics Program

Thursday, 3 - 4 PM CST

Hands-on projects and engaging experiences using the VEX Robotics platform.

Early STEM Robotics introduces young students to the fundamentals of STEM, robotics, and coding. Students build and code with the VEX GO robotics platform. Students learn about motors, sensors, and electronics and use them to solve real-world challenges

Students will engage in:

  • Problem-Solving: Robotics projects involve designing, building, and programming robots to perform specific tasks. This encourages students to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Creativity: Students have the opportunity to design and build their own robots. This fosters creativity as students explore different ways to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Coding Skills: Robotics involves programming robots to perform tasks autonomously. Students learn coding skills, which are increasingly valuable.
  • Teamwork: Robotics programs are team-based, requiring students to collaborate effectively. Teamwork promotes skills such as communication, collaboration, and cooperation that are essential for success in the technology-driven world

Students will:

  • Design simple to complex builds with motors, gears, and sensors
  • Learn to program, explore, experiment, and engage in STEM activities
  • Develop logic and problem-solving skills
