This course introduces students to how software and hardware work together. Students will perform physical tasks using LEDs, buttons, and sensors to see how programming gives physical devices the ability to interact with their environment. Later they apply their computing knowledge and skill to IoT projects.
Saturday, 1:30 - 3:00 PM CST
Students will:
- Learn to code in MicroPython for any hardware that supports it
- Learn to use onboard peripherals and program them
- Learn to interface with external peripherals
