Hands-on projects and engaging experiences using the educational robots and VEX Robotics platform.
Early STEM Robotics introduces young students to the fundamentals of STEM, robotics, and coding. Students build and code with the VEX GO robotics platform. In the second part of the program, students learn advanced concepts and and apply apply their knowledge to solve challenges that resemble real-world situations.
Students will engage in:
- Problem-solving: Robotics projects require students to design, build, and program robots to complete specific tasks. This helps students develop critical thinking skills and solve complex problems.
- Creativity: Students are given the opportunity to create and build their own robots, fostering creativity as they explore different methods to achieve desired outcomes.
- Coding Skills: Robotics involves programming robots to perform tasks independently, teaching students valuable coding skills that are increasingly in demand.
- Teamwork: Robotics programs are team-based, requiring students to collaborate effectively. This promotes communication and collaboration skills which are essential for success in our technology-driven world.
Students will:
- Design advanced builds with motors, gears, and sensors
- Apply the skills learned to explore, program, and engage in STEM activities
- Enhance logic and problem-solving skills
