Explore Coding and Creativity with mBot and Gamefroot. Participate in FLL Explore!

In this course, upper elementary students will explore robotics, coding, and game design using mBot and Gamefroot, a beginner-friendly game development platform. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students will explore programming, electronics, and creative problem-solving as they navigate robotics challenges, design interactive projects that resemble real-world scenarios, and create their games.

Students participate in the FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Explore event. The FLL Explore season runs for a dedicated 6-week period leading up to the official festival. Following this exciting event, students seamlessly resume their standard GearMinds curriculum.

Course Goals:

• Build and explore an archaeological dig site and the tools required to uncover mysterious artifacts.
• Create a motorized model for the FLL Explore festival.
• Participate in the FLL Explore festival and share the learning with the judging team.
• Gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of robotics and coding
• Build and code interactive projects with LEDs and electronic add-ons
• Design and develop games with Gamefroot
• Sharpen Problem-Solving and Collaborative Abilities
• Ignite Creativity and Drive Innovation
