Building Foundations for AP Computer Science A

This course introduces the fundamentals of Java through a series of progressively challenging exercises. Students will learn essential syntax and object-oriented programming concepts while developing a structured approach to problem-solving, utilizing a pseudocode-first methodology.

Course Goals:

• Master Core Java Concepts: Gain a solid understanding of Java programming, with a focus on syntax, structure, object-oriented principles, and debugging.
• Prepare for AP Computer Science A: Practice with College Board-style problems to build confidence and readiness for the AP exam.
